Welcome
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Canada - UK Joint Symposium on Coordination Chemistry, which will be held on Monday 30th May - Wednesday 1st June, 2022 at the University of St Andrews, UK. From each country, 20 excellent coordination chemists will deliver lectures on their recent advances in coordination chemistry, in one of five themes: supramolecular chemistry; materials chemistry; energy and environmental science; organometallic chemistry/catalysis; and bio-coordination chemistry. This conference has the primary goal to foster interactions between Canadian and UK scientists in this field, thereby strengthening relationships and friendships. We welcome wide attendance and participation at our joint symposium, which will help to deepen our partnership on this occasion. |
Before the symposium, the Royal Society of Chemistry and the University of St Andrews are hosting an equality, diversity and inclusivity panel session on how to maintain work-life balance and succeed in academia on Monday 30th May 2022. Delegates attending the coordination chemistry symposium will be prompted to sign up for the session during registration. If you are not attending the conference but would like to attend to the EDI panel session, details on how to do so will be made available shortly. |
